Impressionistic Pond

One of my early works, this image dates back to October 2009. On my way to a shooting spot in a local park, I noticed this amazing colorful reflection in a little pond surrounded by maple trees. It was a bit windy and the water wouldn’t hold still, which gave the reflection this unique impressionistic look. Believe it or not, I visited this spot time and time again every year since, and not once was there any water standing there anymore!
