Frosty Oak Tree
I took this image on an early morning stroll through my local forest in December 2020. The thick hoarfrost gave the trees and grasses a fairy tale look and the dense fog complemented the otherworldly atmosphere. I’ve been to this clearing countless times, yet it looked like never before. It was so serene and peaceful. I stood there in awe and wondered how to preserve this incredible scene forever. And then the young oak tree walked my way with its last brown leaves hanging gracefully like the Christmas tree baubles, with a hawthorn bush rushing behind him like a little sister.
