Frosty Fog I
I took this image on an early morning stroll through my local forest in December 2020. It was by far the most productive morning in my woodland photography. Overnight humidity, still air, and the just below zero temperatures gave the trees and fallen leaves a fresh coat of hoarfrost. And the fog complemented the otherworldly atmosphere, turning ordinary forest paths into scenes from Narnia.
